Power engineering

Prestressed concrete poles are specially designed for power engineering, where they are used as supporting points for overhead power lines with tension up to 35kV.

They are also used in railway transport as supports of traction lines or as supports of telecomunication lines. Poles can be used as supports for signalization and camera systems for highway, billboards, steam distribution and for tube bridges in metallurgical, chemical, ore and power industry, supports for power transformer stations, as the poles for hop-field and other agricultural products.

Good enviromental resistance, bending strenght and crack fissures resistance guarantee high reliability and long life time. Poles do not need special care during lifetime. The lifetime of the pole is min. 30 years.

Prestressed concrete poles have conical shape, with right cross section and wall thickness 5 -10cm, with smooth homogeneous surface. Plastic caps for covering the top of poles are delivered with poles.

• pressure resistance of concrete C50/60 - tensile strenght of concrete reinforcement 520MPa
• yield strenght of concrete reinforcement 410 MPa
• tensile strenght of prestressing reinforcement 1570MPa
• 0,1% ductility limit of prestressing reinforcement 1300MPa

• resistance against varying freezing and defrosting cycles (just for exposed enviroment) XF2

Steel poles: Multi-angle tapered steel poles are designed for 1x110kV and 2x110kV network and are designed in conformity with STN EN 50341-3 and STN 731401. Poles consist of shaft (parts are inserted one into another) and insulators, brackets accordingly, ladder with safety cable system or with safety rail system. Poles are delivered hot dip galvanized according STN EN ISO 1461 or with primer paint according to wish of customer Poles are designed in four basic types N (bearing), RV I (angled), RV II (angled, anchor towers), KO III - 4 (terminative pole)
